Your life is about to get a whole lot cozier, and it's all thanks to Jill Martin.
The TODAY contributor launched her new brand, By Jill Martin, a collection of the ultimate comfort essentials, just in time for the colder seasons. The line features the bestselling cozy items that Martin has become known for, including a blanket, hoodie and, yes, her fan-favorite sherpa lounger.
After receiving a breast cancer diagnosis and undergoing treatment, Martin says that being able to grow her business has felt like a bright spot in a "nightmare" of a year.
"I lost so much over the past year that this is really the silver lining to an earth-shattering journey that I’ve been on," Martin says. "I’m super proud of it, I’m super proud of the team."
Along with items featuring logos from top colleges, the New York Giants and other sports teams, Martin is teaming up with the NBA and WNBA to release special pink versions of loungers and hoodies. Proceeds from those will be donated to the Basser Center for BRCA, the first center dedicated to the research, treatment and prevention of BRCA-related cancers.
She named all the items in the collection the "best" in the world — The Best Lounger In the World, The Best Hoodie in the World and The Best Bingewatching Blanket in the World. "People want value and they want quality and to me, that equals the best. So I’m calling it the best collection." Plus, they’re made from a blanket material, which our editors found to be ultra-soft and plush.
That's why Martin says the products are for everyone (and that they're great for gifting). "If you’re 10 or 100, you want to use these items. They’re for everybody."
